Their message has been around for years, which means you’re a little late getting on the movement. Just because they made cool “hipster” bracelets and shirts and you want one doesn’t mean you’re making a difference or promoting the cause. You’re just feeding into a fad that’s going to die out by next month, because (I assure you) you won’t remember who or what KONY was by then.

I’m sorry you’re offended that Invisible Children has turned into a fad for you. I didn’t know that global movements which require tons of people to even be effective had to be an underground thing in which no one knows about. That would just be a bummer if a lot of people knew about a war criminal who abducts children and forces them to kill their own parents. It would even be more of a bummer if those millions of people were the reason that man got arrested and prosecuted. So sorry people are intruding on an organization you didn’t even create. You giant douche bag.
